Hey Students! Get Involved!

The Volunteer Center of North Texas, in partnership with Strikz Entertainment Center, will hold the 2008 Teen Volunteer Fair on Saturday, October 4 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Strikz, 8789 Lebanon Road in Frisco (SW corner of Preston and Lebanon). All teens are invited to the volunteer fair to learn about various ways to get involved and meet representatives from area nonprofit organizations.

Representatives from nonprofit agencies such as McKinney Performing Arts Center, Frisco Miracle League, CITY House, Share A Smile and NewStart Angel Food are just a few who will be on hand to provide information about their respective organizations and to answer questions about volunteer needs. Teens are invited to visit each agency booth. Those who sign up will receive a FREE game of laser tag or bowling. Plus, the first 100 teens that visit agency booths will also receive a FREE t-shirt.

Enjoy great music provided by Kiss 106.1 FM and hang out with the Frisco Rough Riders mascot!
