Hey Students! Get Involved!

The Volunteer Center of North Texas will host the 2009 Teen Volunteer Fair from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3 at Strikz Entertainment Center (8789 Lebanon Road in Frisco at the SW corner of Preston and Lebanon). All teens are invited to the volunteer fair to learn about various ways to get involved and meet representatives from area nonprofit organizations.

Representatives from nonprofit agencies such as Equest, McKinney Performing Arts Center, Frisco Miracle League, CITY House and NewStart Angel Food are just a few who will be on hand to provide information about their respective organizations and to answer questions about volunteer needs. Teens are invited to visit each agency booth. Those who sign up will receive a FREE game of laser tag or bowling. Plus, the first 100 teens that visit agency booths will also receive a FREE t-shirt.

Join us and have fun with friends while learning ways to give back to the community. Don't miss this opportunity to see how you can make a difference!
